As a Christian, one of the most important and necessary parts of maintaining a vibrant relationship with the Lord is the daily time that we set aside for reading the Bible. God speaks to us through His Word. It is essential that we not just "pick and choose," but that we make a concerted effort to read the Bible in its entirety.

The schedules on this page are one effective way to do that. Spending about twenty minutes a day, the average reader can read all the way through the Bible in a year! The Variety Plan, a real favorite, takes you through a passage in the Old Testament, a section of New Testament, and some Psalms and Proverbs each day. The Chronological Plan goes straight through, from Genesis to Revelation, with around three chapters every day. For young readers, or a first-timer, you might want to try the New Testament Plan. The Psalms and Proverbs passages can be used alone or as a supplement to another plan.
